Evolution.
I have started watching Heroes: Season 2 and I have wondered something. What would this world be like if we had special powers? If we think about it, human beings are boring. No special trait or ability that sets us apart. Just society to do that for us. Can you imagine if we could...read people's minds or fly? Is this what evolution has in store for us? Is it even possible? Some people say that if we used our brains to a fuller capacity, we would be able to move stuff or hover. I'm not sure about this but there are monks in Tibet that can, using their minds, melt the snow around them using their own body heat...
If I were to choose a power, I would read people's minds. Do you know how useful that would be? I wouldn't want to ascend to power using brute force but rather know what people are thinking and aspire to their wishes. Getting women would be so much easier. That's why I want to live longer than what I may be destined for. To see what is in store for our kind.
I'm weird, I know.

Trust me, even if you could read our minds you'd still never know what we ACTUALLY want. Hell, even we don't know most of the time. :P

I agree to a point. but reading peoples mind isn't all that its cracked up to be. you will hear the hurt, the hatred, and etc... all the shit you dont want to here, you will.

I would like to fly! I think seeing the world from a different perspective would be awesome!!! looking down at someone or things, then looking directly at them. or up at them.
