I wonder if you and I knew each other in a previous life. Some people don't believe in that sort of thing. Others are more religious or spiritual. I believe in reincarnation personally. I would like to think that our spirits or our energy has to go somewhere. Why not into another life form? To continue on as something or someone completely different and yet the same.

The movie, Cloud Atlas, for instance describes this very notion. They show multiple lives of the same person. Each time, they are different than before. And yet the same. It shows us that those you are connected to now, you probably were at some other time. I love the thought of that.

Being gay, I wonder if I was always like that? The love I feel for you tells me that I must have. Imagine if we were around during the Greek times? Go back five millenia and there was still the notion of free love. You were accepted no matter who you are. Love is Love. I think about that sometimes. I believe you and I were meant to be back then. Throughout all the years, you and I have been lovers. We have laughed and cried together. We have bonded more than we have with anyone else. I think that experience alone is wonderful. But to have what we have...it's indescribable. It's like the earth and the sky were created for us. To look upon it together.

We may have been without each other during some portions of our lives, but with all things, everything happens for a reason. You and I were meant to meet each other as we were meant to change each others lives. How extraordinary. A life partner who I have known for millenia. I couldn't ask for anything more.
